Why is Glass Fusion™ better than other surface sealers?
Glass Fusion™ is Silica Based. Silica is the same type of material as glass. Glass virtually lasts forever. Competitive products are currently urethane, acrylic or epoxy based that will degrade from environmental exposure.
Is Glass Fusion™ slippery?
Glass Fusion™ is more slip resistant than the surface of ceramic tile. On smooth concrete, an anti slip additive can be added to provide even greater traction.
What are the primary applications for Glass Fusion™ ?
Glass Fusion™ is primarily used on tile and grout, natural stone, bricks, pavers, concrete and painted concrete.
What is the benefit of Glass Fusion™ ?
Tile & Grout - Glass Fusion™ creates a seamless surface that permanently seals tile
and grout from staining and wear. Cleans with ease to reduce maintenance costs.
Natural Stone - The colors of the stone are magnified. The enhancement of these
surfaces is stunning. Surface staining, mold and mildew will not occur.
Pavers & Brick - Glass Fusion™ is a permanent barrier from mold, mildew, pollution,
oils, acids and chemicals. Cleans easily and keeps the surface appearance new.
Concrete - Glass Fusion™ is a permanent barrier from mold, mildew, pollution, oils,
acids and chemicals. Graffiti will not stick to the surface.
Painted Concrete - Stain or paint on the concrete will not be worn off by foot traffic.
Area is easily cleaned and will not stain from oils, leaves, or mold.
What maintenance does Glass Fusion™ require?
Depending on your surface, reduces the frequency of cleaning and eliminates the need of any harsh and toxic chemicals. Please contact your sales representative for specific maintenance instructions.
Can Glass Fusion™ be removed ?
Yes, we have a method of removing Glass Fusion™ if new paint lines or logos need to be added.
Is Glass Fusion™ expensive?
Glass Fusion™ is comparable to most performance sealants. However, it will last longer.
Can Glass Fusion™ be used on wood or VCT?
Currently, the formulas for Glass Fusion™ are not used on surfaces with high levels of expansion and contraction.
How long will Glass Fusion™ last?
Glass Fusion™ is permanent. Normal wear and environmental exposure will not remove Glass Fusion™. It can be abraded off.
How is Glass Fusion™ applied?
Properly prepared surfaces are coated with pressure spray systems.
Is there a warranty on Glass Fusion™?
